I'm working on cushion covers, still investigating the possibilities of layering cloth. I have been working with this idea of layering texture and pattern for some time, although until recently, I have only used it with my jewellery.

But I'm struggling with the idea of putting a loosely woven cloth with unfinished edges into the washing machine....I know the edges will fray and fluff , but how much more will it unravel?? I just have to trust in serendipity.
